A presidential aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party and former governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi, has dumped the party.
In what seems like a surprise move to many political observers, the former governor announced his resignation from the Peoples Democratic Party in an official letter which was made available to the press.
As of the time of filing this report, Peter Obi is yet to state his reasons for leaving his party or indicate his new party.
