The minister of education, Adamu Adamu is reportedly in a hospital in Berlin, Germany treating a yet-to-be disclosed sickness.
According to Sahara Reporters, the latest trip was the third time Adamu would be flown abroad within this coronavirus pandemic period. Though the minister is reportedly undergoing treatment for a kidney related ailment, the reason for the latest trip is still unknown. Adamu who has not been seen in public in recent times is expected back in the country soon.
Born in May,1956, Adamu is a long time ally of President Muhammad Buhari. Prior to his appointment as minister, the Bauchi indigene and journalist was the Secretary of Buhari Presidential Transition Committee.
Obviously, his absence would further slow down critical strategy in reopening of schools, but Nigerians wish him a quick recovery.
