West Ham have stepped up bid to price away Nigeria’s talented winger, Victor Moses from Chelsea and have reportedly tabled £6m for his signature.

The Hammers have suffered back-to-back home defeats by Leicester City and newcomers Bournemouth since their opening day win away to Arsenal, and manager Slaven Bilic is keen on strengthening his team before the close of the transfer window with Moses considered a valuable acquisition.

Chelsea had earlier intended to keep the former Crystal Palace winger following his impressive form at Stoke City last season and during pre-season games, but are now ready to sell the 24-year-old following Pedro’s arrival last week.

Moses, who joined Chelsea in the summer of 2012 from Wigan Athletics, is valued at around £10m by the Stamford Bridge.

His start to the 2015-16 campaign has been delayed by a knock he picked up in training, but could return for the English champions against his former club Palace this weekend.

The Blues are also considering to loan Moses with a view to a permanent move of 6 million pounds in the near future.

The 24-year old scored 4 goals for Stoke last season and Bilic will be hoping that the former Wigan star will have a much better season with his team and propel them to Premiere League glory. The Hammers are scheduled to go to Anfield for their next Premier League fixture.
