The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has extended the closing date for the sale of application forms for the Computer Based Test till March 31.

A statement from the Public Relations Officer, Fabian Benjamin, said the extension was to allow more candidates to register for the 2014 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination.

“The extension is to give access for more candidates desirous of tertiary education who could not register for the Paper Pencil Test mode.  This is also to ensure that every Nigerian is given equal opportunity.

“The Board wishes to state that it would shut its site after the expiration of this new date to allow for proper logistics and planning in preparation for the 2014 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination on Computer Based Test mode scheduled to begin from May 17”, the statement said.

The registration for PPT and DBT ended last Sunday, but the examination comes up on Saturday, April 12.
