NSE5With the completion of the first stage of the end-of-the-year review of the Nigerian Stock Exchange indices (NSE 30) – including the sectoral and Pension Indices – the Exchange had indicated the companies that are likely to come in and drop-off.

The Exchange in a statement said Presco Plc, Champion Breweries Plc, Total Nigeria Plc, Glaxo Smithkline Consumer (Nig) Plc are likely incoming companies into NSE-30 Index  while Cadbury Nigeria Plc, First City Group Plc, Mobil Oil Nig Plc, UACN Plc are likely exiting companies.

NSE Consumer Goods Index has Vono Products Plc, Northern Nigeria Flour Mills, DN Tyre & Rubber Plc listed as likely incoming while companies expected to exit are: Vitafoam Nigeria Plc, Tiger Branded Consumer Goods Plc, and Honeywell Flour Mills Plc.

Skye Bank Plc and Unity Bank Plc have been reviewed as companies to likely join the NSE Banking Index while Wema Bank Plc and Fidelity Bank Plc are expected to leave.

The NSE Insurance Index has Consolidated Insurance Plc, Law Union & Rock Insurance Plc, STACO Insurance Plc, Regency Alliance Plc as likely incoming companies while Sovereign Trust Insurance Plc, Prestige Assurance Plc, NEM Insurance Plc, LASACO Assurance Plc may leave.

BOC Gases Plc, Grief Nigeria Plc, First Aluminium Nigeria Plc are companies listed under likely incoming companies to the NSE Industrial Index while Avon Crowncaps & Containers Plc, Paints & Coatings Plc, Cutix Plc are listed under likely exiting companies.

NSE Oil/Gas Index has Japaul Oil & Maritime Services Plc and Eterna Plc recorded as likely incomers while MRS Oil Nigeria Plc and Conoil Plc are expected to exit.

NSE Pension Index  is expected to receive the likes of Cadbury Nigeria Plc, GlaxoSmithkline Consumer Plc, Julius Berger Nig Plc, Seplat Petroleum Plc, Beta Glass Co. Plc while Ecobank Transnational Inc, Conoil Plc, Honeywell Flour Mills Plc, NASCON Allied Industries Plc, Skye Bank Plc, and UACN Properties Dev Plc, are likely to exit.

NSE Lotus Islamic Index also have 7up Bottling Co. Plc, Dangote Sugar Refinery Plc, Total Nigeria Plc, Forte Oil Plc listed as likely incoming companies while Seplat Petroleum Plc, UACN Plc are expected to drop.
