Vetiva Banking ETF

At the sound of the closing gong Wednesday, newly listed Vetiva Banking ETF had traded 5,005 units in 2 deals at a price of 3.21 per unit with total value amounting to N16,066 while the Vetiva Consumer goods ETF had traded 172,667 units in 20 deals at a price of N7.64 per unit with total value amounting to N1,219,014.22 and the Vetiva Industrial ETF had traded 94,568 units in 26 deals at a current price of N21.38 with total value amounting to N2,036,048.04.

Meanwhile, the All Share Index of the Nigerian stock market depreciated 0.42 per cent to close at 30,199.15 points as against 0.35 per cent gained yesterday to close at 30,325.11 points.

Market Capitalization lost N43.290 billion to close at N10.378 trillion in contrast to N36.465 billion gained previously to close at N10.422 trillion.

The NSE Oil and Gas Index topped four sectoral gainers with a 1.2 per cent increase to close at 363.31 points, while the NSE Premium and Industrial Index capped six sectoral losers with a loss of two per cent each to close at 1,604.75 points and 2,138.00 points respectively.

Today, a total of 207.480 million shares worth N3.439 billion were exchanged by investors in 2,767 deals in comparison with 245.4 million shares worth N3.222 billion exchanged by investors in 2,988 deals yesterday.

Oando Plc led 14 equity gainers with a 76 kobo or 8.34 per cent gain to close at N9.87 per share, followed by Trans-nationwide Express Plc which added 7 kobo or 6.09 per cent to close at N1.22 per share, while Air Service Plc added 9 kobo or 4.86 per cent to close at N1.94 per share.

Guinness Nigeria Plc gained N6.80 or 4.72 per cent to close at N150.80 per share, while Evans Medical Plc increased 2 kobo or 3.39 per cent to close at 61 kobo per share.

On the other hand, Arbico Plc led 19 equity losers as it decreased 26 kobo or 4.91 per cent to close at N5.04 per share followed by Academy Press Plc which depreciated 3 kobo or 4.84 per cent to close at 59 kobo per share, while DN Meyer Plc lost 3 kobo or 4.84 per cent to close at 70 kobo per share.

Costain Plc declined 2 kobo or 3.64 per cent to close at 53 kobo per share, while Dangote Sugar Plc dropped 22 kobo or 3.35 per cent to close at N6.35 per share.
